Various manifestations of variation in the old-time frontier dialects of the Ukrainian language in temporal and spatial dimensions (based on materials created by the Atlas) have been analyzed. The study establishes the peculiarities of the functioning of the expressive-verbal vocabulary in the zone of constant foreign-language influence. We have replenished the Ukrainian Phono- and Text-fund, the collected materials became the basis of the Materials for the Ukrainian Lexical Atlas.
