The purpose of the work is to examine the nature of structural and functional changes in the thyroid gland in patients with benign and malignant tumors of the mammary gland, taking into account the parameters of estradiol, progesterone and prolactin, who suffered from the Chernobyl accident. Methods of research: general-clinical, radiological, ultrasonographic, biochemical, morphological, immunohistochemical, statistical. Results and their novelty. Structural changes in the thyroid gland in patients suffering from the Chernobyl catastrophe and living in contaminated areas with benign nodal neoplasms in the MR were found in 63.26%, in patients with breast cancer (CM) - 75%, changes indicators of functional thyroid function in patients with benign tumors - in 40,81%, patients with breast cancer - in 27,5%. The increased level of markers of the reproductive panel in patients with benign MH was found at 32.65%, with malignant neoplasms of MH - at 18.75%. The estrogen receptors are found in 48.97% of patients with benign neoplasms. The estrogen receptors in the breast cancer tissue were detected in 73.75%, progesterone - in 60% of patients. The index of activity of cell proliferation in benign neoplasms at the level of 1-5% was in 71.42% of patients, at 10-30% - at 21.42% and at 40% - in 7.14% of patients. KI-67 in patients with breast cancer was up to 15% in 13.43% of patients, at 16-20% in 13.43% of patients, from 20% to 70% in 73.73% of patients.
