The purpose of the study is to obtain the physical regularities of the wave processes of radiation of electromagnetic waves by weakly directed radiators in the near, intermediate and far observation zones and linear and aperture antenna arrays of such emitters. Research methods - theoretical studies, computer analysis, experimental studies. Mathematical software has been developed - a vector external electrodynamics problem has been solved and calculation formulas have been obtained analytically, algorithms and computer programs have been developed for calculating the amplitude, phase and polarization characteristics of electromagnetic fields in the near, intermediate and far zones of the main types of weakly directed radiators and linear aperture antenna arrays of such emitters. By calculation, the laws of formation of the spatial distribution of the amplitude and power of the electromagnetic field near linear and quasilinear antenna arrays and aperture discrete antennas with a round, square and rectangular opening are investigated. The field behavior in the spot beam of aperture antennas is studied. A method for adjusting the operating frequency and matching vibrator antennas with screens matching elements placed between the vibrator and the screen in the near zone of the antenna is proposed. Theoretically and experimentally proved its performance. By calculation, we studied the possibility of optimizing vibrator antennas with screens according to the maximum directional coefficient.
