Research aim: development of scientific and practical foundations for creating energy-efficient computer-integrated technologies in the ammonia production and technology for the production nitric acid for said research objects. Research methods: theoretical methods using system analysis based on mathematical modeling methods; processes identification using stochastic methods by uncertainty numerical estimation; chromatographic and analytical methods for determining concentrations. Structural optimization problems were formalized, processes were identified, and mathematical and kinetic models of the corresponding stages of ammonia and nitric acid production were developed. Energy-efficient technological equipment of complexes for secondary condensation, carbon oxides conversion and nitrogen oxides absorption was created. The optimal operation modes of the above complexes have been determined, which provide a reduction in the specific consumption of electricity, natural gas and water vapor and a decrease in emissions of nitrogen oxides in the atmosphere. Algorithmic and software has been developed for identifying computer-integrated control systems for the corresponding technological complexes of ammonia and nitric acid production. Application field of work results: stages of secondary condensation and conversion of carbon oxides in the ammonia production, and nitrogen oxides absorption in the production of nitric acid.
