The purpose of the work is to determine the forms, methods and consequences of the entry of foreign capital into the banking system of Ukraine and to study the directions of the influence of banks with foreign capital on the development of the country's economy. The report sets out directions for studying the level of influence and significance of the application of foreign technology to the activities of the banking system of Ukraine, discloses the content of author's methods, describes the algorithms for determining the effectiveness of entities functioning both in the banking and financial markets in general. This report on scientific research is final and includes the disclosure of the following components of the overall content of research: - the study of the theoretical and practical aspects of banking regulation in the conditions of international globalization of the financial market; - substantiation of ways to increase the competitiveness of Ukrainian banks in the conditions of internationalization of banking business; - definition of directions of development of financial markets under the influence of foreign capital.
