The purpose of the work is to study the innovation potential of the national economy of Ukraine and to develop a mechanism and components of marketing to enhance the competitiveness of the national economy. To achieve the goal, a comprehensive methodology including a system of research methods was used: theoretical methods - an analysis of scientific economic, methodological literature, analytical reviews and scientific and methodical publications in the scientific literature and on official Internet sites, official sites of Ukrainian and foreign companies; empirical methods - analytical data, expert development and evaluation of domestic and foreign economists. The scientific novelty of the research is that it: highlights theoretical and methodological approaches to the formation of an innovative mechanism for the construction of the national economy; clarified and deepened ideas about the essence of the concept of "high technologies" and modern components of the marketing system of business entities in the market of high technologies; Recommendations on the mechanism of formation of marketing components for improving the competitiveness of economic entities are proposed. The results of the research and conclusions can be used in the educational process in order to increase the theoretical and practical level of students, in the preparation of curricula, and also introduced in the practice of domestic enterprises.
