The purpose of the research is to create a scientifically and experimentally tested linguistic world-image concerning the linguistic and cultural components of paradigmatic and syntagmatic relations in the language system and to determine the current factors for the formation of linguopoetic means. Research methods: theoretical methods - analysis of scientific linguistic literature in terms of the researched problem, the method of theoretical modeling, distributive statistical analysis of semantics, descriptive method, conceptual method, contextual method etc. Theoretical provisions, results of the research and its findings can be used in the educational process in order to improve the quality of theoretical and practical training of students. The effectiveness of the research is to develop theoretical questions in terms of the modern language structure and system as well as to form practical solutions for their integration into the educational process. The materials of the research are introduced in the lecture courses "Lexicology of the German language", "Organization of scientific research", "Current problems of grammar, lexicology and stylistics". The results of this work are of practical importance for the development of training programs, in the preparation of selective courses, tests, lectures and practical classes. The results can become a solid foundation for improving the process of teaching the German language at a higher educational institution. The study implies the following scientific novelty: 1) the essence of the concepts "language system", "paradigmatics", "syntagmatics", "linguocultural discourse" has been specified; 2) the concept of lexical field organization was theoretically substantiated, developed and tested; the research developed the concept of the language units compatibility in the modern German language and traced the structural and semantic features of linguoculturology tools; it also characterized the mechanisms of their implementation; 3) the linguistic world-image was considered in terms of lexical paradigmatic and textual syntagmatic relations. Research implementation efficiency: 112 publications (articles and abstracts) were printed, 1 monograph was published. Scope of application: the results of the research conducted were introduced in the lecture courses for bachelors and masters. There were also graduate thesis in graduate courses offered.
