A scheme has been developed for the territorial organization of the Ukrainian Black Sea region on the basis of regionalization and tourist and recreational zoning on the basis of regionalistiki and territory planning, which, in comparison with traditional single-level sectoral sectoral economic zoning, is a qualitatively new basis for developing strategies and concepts for socio-economic development of the region. An electronic catalog and maps of the placement of tourist and recreational resources and infrastructural facilities of the Northern Black Sea coast using GIS technologies were created. The priority directions for the development of the recreational and tourist environmental management of the Northern Black Sea region are proposed in order to increase the competitiveness of the regional tourist product and to form an attractive regional image of the tourist territory as a tool to preserve the natural, cultural and historical heritage.
