Research methods: z-transform, discrete Fourier transform, numerical simulation of transient processes, experimental study of control processes. Main results: the structure of the system of automatic control of the amplitude and frequency of the electromagnetic vibration drive is constructed. Unlike the known systems, frequency control is carried out by maintaining a given phase difference between the third and first harmonics of the current. This allows, with a minimum amount of sensors, to provide a stable near-resonant mode of the vibration unit in conditions of change in the mass of the material being processed and thereby achieve its maximum energy efficiency. The obtained equations describing the processes of digital transformations of signals of vibration acceleration and current sensors in the process of controlling the amplitude and frequency of the electromagnetic vibration drive. On the basis of the obtained equations, a dynamic structural scheme of the control system is constructed and a simulation model is developed in the Simulink environment. Numerical simulation of the processes of controlling the amplitude and frequency of the drive under conditions of change in the load mass is carried out. The simulation results showed that the tuning time for a new resonance frequency is about 2 s, while the time of the amplitude control transient is about 0.5 s. Based on the equations describing the transformation of digital signals in the control device, an algorithm for the control program of the microcontroller that implements the control law is developed. The basic electric circuit of the control system has been developed, experimental research has been carried out, which confirms the working capacity of the developed control system.
