Key trends, dynamics and structural modifications of financial institutions of Ukraine have been revealed and systematized, conceptual differences, legislative gaps and inconsistencies of trends between EU and Ukraine financial institutions development have been developed. Proposals on modernization of financial institutions of Ukraine (fiscal, banking, stock and insurance markets), taking into account the dynamic changes in EU financial institutions and their influence on the banking system in Ukraine, processes in stock and insurance markets, management of national public finances have been developed and submitted. Research and analytical base for monitoring and forecasting qualitative dynamic changes in EU financial institutions, identification of the current and future influence of EU financial institutions on the system of financial regulation in Ukraine, based on the necessity of Ukraine to implement the provisions of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and EU, as well as further improvement of national financial institutions in preparation for Ukraine's accession to EU have been developed and created. Peculiarities and progressive changes of the financial regulation system in EU have been revealed, prospective development directions of financial institutions of EU have been determined, as well as system of measures, methods and tools for transformation (formation) of Ukrainian financial institutions for ensuring the full association of Ukraine with EU and approximation of prospects for our country's membership in EU have been proposed.
