A clinical and diagnostic examination of 480 employees of the CEC of Southern Ukraine aged 40 to 64 years was performed. Prevalence of risk factors for BMD reduction among MGC workers was determined, and the impact of adverse factors on the risk of fracture development and occupational injury was evaluated. The possibility of using the FRAX model for medical examinations of employees was tested, the analysis was performed and the effectiveness of the use of traditional and targeted therapy in patients was determined. Clinical recommendations for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of osteoporosis in workers in hazardous industries have been formulated and made public.
