The object of research - models and methods of identification of the technical condition of the barrel and ammunition to firearms on the basis of the analysis of ballistic elements of the shot. The purpose of this stage is the establishment and analysis of the dependence of the ballistic elements of the shot from the technical condition of the barrel and ammunition, as well as the development of proposals for the creation of means of measuring the pressure of the powder gases and the velocity of the projectile in the barrel. Research methods-the method of laser Doppler anemometry, method of identification of measuring signals, methods of digital filtration and spectral analysis, elements of the theory of automatic control, elements of the theory of experiment planning, numerical methods for solving the equations of internal ballistics, the theory of errors. The results of this stage of work are: models of the impact of the technical condition of the barrel and ammunition to firearms on the ballistic elements of the shot, indicators and criteria for the identification of the state of the channels of trunks and ammunition to the barrel systems of the National guard of Ukraine, recommendations for the identification of the state of the channels of barrels and ammunition to the barrel systems. The use of the research results is expected at landfills, in workshops, military units, research institutions of the National guard of Ukraine during the diagnosis of the state of the channels of weapons and determine the suitability of ammunition after their long-term storage, as well as at the National Academy of the national guard of Ukraine in the training of specialists involved in the development and operation of small arms, artillery systems and ammunition. The research was carried out according to the plan of research work of the research center of the National Academy of the National guard of Ukraine.
