The risk of D2 is 1,4 times higher in the bearers of the Q-allele than in the homozygotes for the main K-allele (Р = 0,027). It has been shown that the risk increases in the patients with ІМТ ? 25 kg/m2. Furthermore, it has been found for the first time the link of polymorphic site rs997509 of ENPP1 gene with development of D2 in Ukraine Population (Р = 0,015). The mathematical analysis showed that the risk of getting sick is 2,1 times higher in the bearers of the minor T-allele than in the persons who are homozygotes for the main allele (Р = 0,027). At the same time, a significant difference in the distribution of genotypes by rs997509 polymorphism of the ENPP1 gene among obese subjects in the group of diabetes and control was established (Р = 0,024). It has been revealed that the risk of type 2 diabetes development is much higher in persons with obesity who are carriers of a minor T-allele than in the homozygotes for the main C-allele (OR = 3,230; Р = 0,023). The associations of the studied polymorphic sites of the VEGF-A and BGLAP genes with the development of D2 in the Ukraine population were not detected. It has been established that a decrease in the content of K, Ca, Zn, Fe and Cu is observed in the skeletal muscles of rats with chronic hyperglycemia compared with animals without disturbances of carbohydrate metabolism.
