The project will be reinterpreted existing historiographical heritage of life and work of P. Stebnytskyi, it will be presented a new reading of his personal, professional and scientific biographies. It is planned to find some new archival documents that confirm the activist’s contribution to the development of the Ukrainian nation and state. The novelty of the project is in making the concept of «Ukrainian nation-building» a separate research category, giving this category a specific and effective content, which shows forms, methods and ways of realization of the «Ukrainian nation-building project» by P. Stebnytskyi. The methodology of realization of the research of intellectual biography will be tested using the example of the study of this figure.
