The conditions of the use of the STAGR technology for the allocation of areas promising for the search for unconventional deposits of hydrocarbons have been substantiated. The result is the creation of a refined geological model, a thorough evaluation of promising areas, the construction of a fluid dynamic model of hydrocarbon streams, operative adjustment of the directions of search and exploration, and the rational installation of wells. Forecast-search signs of oil and gas bearing effect structures, determined during the work on the method of STAGR, can be used to predict areas promising for the production of hydrocarbon gases and petroleum. The results of research contribute to solving a number of scientific and practical issues related to the problem of oil and gas bearing capacity of Ukraine's impact structures. The obtained results testify to the promising use of the developed method for forecasting and clarification of contours of potential traps of hydrocarbons and deposits associated with them.
