Advanced laser technology YAG: RE (RE = Nd3+, Yb3+) with a high degree of doping for compact energy-efficient pulsed lasers is developed. As a result of the optimization of the production conditions and composition, YAG: Nd3 + ceramics achieved a 68% laser efficiency. The laboratory model is developed and the characteristics of microlaser with semiconductor saturable mirror SESAM type for subnanosecond laser pulses are measured. The optical scheme of autocorrelator for measuring the laser pulses duration from 10 to 1000 ps is developed and created. An experimental sample of laser pulses amplifier is developed. An experimental sample of pulsed microchip laser with a power of 1 MW (pulse width 1 ns and energy about 1 mJ) is created. It is calculated, optimized parameters and made experimental samples of photonic crystals for increasing the brightness of radiation of microlaser.
