The purpose of the research work is to synthesize the theoretical and practical basics of business planning in entrepreneurial activity and develop on this basis the optimal ways to improve the effectiveness of business plans. The subject of research is a set of theoretical, methodological and practical principles for business planning of entrepreneurial activity. Reliability and reasonableness of the research provided for the use of: methods of logical generalization (clarification of the circle of organizational and economic conditions of effective business planning); methods of comparative, graphical and statistical analysis (in generalizing the experience of enterprise business planning); methods of scientific abstraction (study of factors influencing business planning), etc. The information base of the research consists of monographs, articles, textbooks of domestic and foreign scientists on management, entrepreneurship and business planning, legislative acts, publications of practitioners of strategic management, statistical and practical materials.
