The features of a formation and influence of light environment in modern office premises on the workers were established, which are in that the use of energy saving LED light sources creates higher levels of illumination at workplaces(400-450 lux) than systems of luminescent lighting (300 - 350 lux) and is subjectively evaluated as more comfortable and conducive to positive mood and increased level of liveliness, reduction of the number of complaints about working conditions (p<0,05). For the first time it was established that influence of unfavorable working conditions on office workers leads to an acceleration of the aging rate of their organism by 2.48 ± 0.98 years or more (p <0.05). It was established that under the conditions of a laboratory experiment on the study of combined microclimate activity, labor intensity and illumination characteristic of modern offices, optimal levels of illumination (600 lux) and air temperature (21 ºC) contribute to an increase in visual performance by 53%, and the most adverse combination of these factors leads to its decrease by 45%. On the basis of regression equations, quantitative dependencies of changes in visual performance from possible combinations of factors are determined. On the basis of the carried out industrial and laboratory studies, the requirements for the parameters of light environment were improved and the amendments to the State Building Regulations of Ukraine DBN V.2.5-28:2018 "Engineering equipment of buildings and structures. Natural and artificial lighting" (valid since 02/28/2019) and the recommended level of illumination for office premises should be not less than 400 lux.
