An analytical review of existing systems of the same purpose was carried out, the approach to creation of a radar was proposed. Algorithms for detecting moving objects behind obstacles (walls of buildings) and determination of their location based on the results of an UWB pulsed radar observation are proposed. Methods of creation of efficient small-size pulsed antenna systems, high-power pulse generators with a pulse duration of 0.5 nanoseconds, stroboscopic sensors of increased sensitivity, as well as equipment for processing and displaying the results of sounding are investigated. A prototype of the radar system to monitor the movement of objects beyond the walls was created and tested .
