V. Pisarzhevskii Institute Of Physical Chemistry of The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 In the course of the project, several options for the combustible basis of gel fuel were investigated, taking into account the parameters of calorific value and environmental friendliness: methanol, ethanol, diethylene glycol, isopropyl alcohol. A selection of gelling agents was carried out. The most suitable gelling additives: hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose (HPMC) with a viscosity of 2% solution for Brookfield 60000Pz and commercial gel formulation Aristoflex, in the presence of which it is possible to obtain stable samples of gel fuel with the necessary rheological characteristics. Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose was chosen as a gelling agent for further development of the technology of producing gel fuel. The influence of temperature under high pressure in an atmosphere of an inert gas on the efficiency of the formation of a stable gel was established. An original method for the production of gel fuel was created and a laboratory method was developed that was transferred to the State Enterprise "CATEC" for the development of the technology for the production of a pilot batch of gel fuel. At CATEC, the most technologically appropriate composition of gel fuel was determined, optimization of its viscosity in relation to the technological and operational parameters was made, one-time technological regulations were developed for the production of a pilot batch of gel fuel, the technology of gel fuel production was worked out and the experimental batch was worked out.  Product Description popup.authors popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
