ARCHEOLOGY OF VYSNYA RIVER BASIN. ARCHAEOLOGICAL EXAMINATION OF THE VYSNYA RIVER BASIN ON THE TERRITORY OF THE LVIV REGION IN 2015 The object of the study is the Vyshnya River Basin in the Mostyska District of Lviv Oblast. The purpose of the work is to survey the areas of the Vyshnya River basin within the Mostyskogo, Yavoriv, Sambir and Gorodotsky districts of the Lviv region in order to identify new objects of archeology for the purpose of their registration within the framework of the project "Archaeological Cadastre of Ukraine". Methods of research - processing of archival-bibliographic and cartographic materials; archaeological intelligence; mapping, fixing of archeological objects in the coordinate system WGS-84; room processing of field materials, establishment of cultural and chronological affiliation. Field studies were conducted on the territory of Mostyska, Yavoriv, Horodok and Sambir districts. The total area of the surveyed area was 150 km2. During the exploration, 253 objects of archaeological heritage were discovered and recorded: settlements, graveyards, separate burial mounds, and the location of archaeological materials. The results of intelligence are one of the main sources of the database of the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Pilot Project - "Archaeological Cadastre of Ukraine. Lviv region".
