The purpose of the work is to develop recommendations for safe mining when releasing outgoing air stream from the preparatory face at the high-altitude field mine 151 side tunnel (west) in the conditions of the Stepоva mine. Research methods - generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematical statistics, calculations using standard methods. As a result of the work, the technical documentation on the dead-end workings of the "Stepova" mine PSS "PershotravenskeMineGroup" Private Joint-stock Company "DTEK Pavlogradugol" was analyzed. Developed "Recommendations for ensuring dust and gas safety of works on carrying out dead-end production of 151 side drifts (west) when releasing air into the fresh stream entering its airing, outgoing air flow from dead-end working of race No. 1 on 153 prefabricated drift, then 153 prefabricated drift (west) of the Stepova mine. Subject to the implementation of the developed recommendations for ensuring dust and gas safety, the release of outgoing air flow from dead-end production of run No. 1 to 153 prefabricated drift was agreed, thereafter 153 prefabricated roadway (west) to the fresh air stream entering airing dead-end roadway 151 . The results of the implementation of the development - the application of the developed recommendations helped to ensure gas safety in mining, which is of great socio-economic and environmental importance.
