In order to ensure an accurate reciprocating motion of rotating shafts and rake for a feed of the metal powder onto the working platform it was chosen stepping motors for providing a high accuracy of positioning. A programed revolution of shafts was realized by means of electromagnetic clutches and a precise and smooth movement of the rake at the expense of usage of movable carriages and guiding rails. An application of these devices gave a possibility to ensure a reliable functioning of the produced mechanism for an obtainment of required parts by means of 3D prototyping technology.
