Methods: studies of surfacing materials, namely, composites of powdered wires, which will provide welded metal with high performance characteristics, optimization of the composition of the deposited metal, improvement of slag systems, reduction of the content of nonmetallic inclusions in the deposited metal, which will increase the hot hardness, bulk resistance at a moderate level of doping, optimization of surfacing technology, analysis of literary data. Theoretical and practical results:the composition of electrode materials, the production of samples, conducting exploratory surfacings, as well as the determination and research of the chemical composition of the weld metal and its metallographic research, the existing technologies of surfacing with powdered wires have been studied. The optimum modes and technology of surfacing of parts for cutting and stamping tools of hot metal processing made using chrome alloys and obtaining with them a layer with high performance of the material under exploitation conditions are obtained. Novelty:the addition of chromium and tungsten wire of a predetermined amount to the experimental composition of the invention is proposed. The wire according to its mechanical properties exceeds existing warehouses of powder wires. Efficiency of implementation: the proposed composition and technology allow obtaining the optimal composition of the surfacing materials for surfacing the working surfaces of the die tool, which will allow for welded metal, which, in its operational properties, exceeds the existing chromium steel.
