The purpose of the work is to conduct a study of the explosion hazard of coal dust in coal samples for LLC Coal Processing Plant Coal Energy Complex. Research methods - generalization and analysis of the results, methods mat. statistics, calculations by standard methods. As a result of the work, a “Methodology for determining the yield of volatile substances from coal seams and the lower explosive limits of coal dust” was developed. The analysis of coal dust of LLC Coal Energy Complex Processing Plant LLC for explosion hazard in the laboratory of the department for managing dynamic manifestations of rock pressure was performed. An opinion was issued on the explosiveness of dust and the need for dust control measures in accordance with the requirements of NPAOII 10.0-1.03-90 “Safety rules for enterprises for the enrichment and briquetting of coal (shale)”. As a result of the application of the developed recommendations, safety is ensured during the processing of enrichment, which is of great socio-economic and environmental importance.
