Podgorny Institute of Mechanical Engineering Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 The purpose of the work is developing modern effective computational methods and computer technology for free and forced vibration analysis of compound fuel tanks of launch vehicles with baffles at different stages of missions: during overloads and under microgravity conditions, taking into account intense sloshing. Research methods are modified computational methods of finite and boundary elements. New mathematical models have been developed for analysis of the strength and dynamic characteristics of shells and shell structures, partially filled with liquids and with baffles of various types for damping sloshing. The problems of hydroelastic interaction are reduced to solving boundary integral equations, and the systems of two-dimensional integral equations are reduced to one-dimensional for axisymmetric problems. An effective method of boundary elements for solving axisymmetric problems of potential theory and new approximate methods for numerically solving singular integral equations are developed taking into account the properties of the kernels of the corresponding integral operators, checking the accuracy of the constructed quadrature formulas for integrals with singularities. The Computer Codes for simulating dynamical behavior of shell constructions with liquid fillers are developed. Benchmark tests for the dynamics of shells and shell structures with compartments filled by liquids with and without baffles are accomplished. Application of the computer technology into design of fuel tanks in М.К.
