Representatives of individual taxa collections are the source of a whole range of valuable biologically active compounds of antioxidant / reducing activity. By modeling the conditions of cultivation it is planned to develop optimal cultivation technologies for obtaining the highest percentage of biologically active compounds. As a result of the project, the knowledge of the peculiarities of reproductive biology of plants - promising producers of biologically active compounds will be improved. In particular, the data on the processes of growth and development of juvenile plants under aseptic culture and on reproduction of rare and endangered species will be obtained. The work on creating a bank of isolated crops of valuable plant species will be continued. Correlation between the conditions of plant cultivation and the content of compounds with high antioxidant / reducing properties in plant tissues will be investigated. The practical results of the project will be the development of plant cultivation techniques that will promote the biosynthesis of active substances in plants and produce effective natural-derived antioxidants / reducing agents. Plant extracts and biologically active compounds with high antioxidant / reducing properties will be obtained, methods of mass reproduction of plants of rare species of orchids for the preservation of the world's genetic biodiversity will be improved.
