CURRENT CURRENT SOURCES, ELECTROLYTS, SUPERCONDENSERS The object of study is electrolytic systems and electrode materials for sodium current sources. The purpose of the work is to develop a scientific concept of the effect of the composition of electrolyte systems on the basis of diluted and concentrated solutions of sodium salts in aprotic dipolar solvents on the electrochemical and chemical interaction with the electrode materials of sodium chemical current sources (CDU). Research methods: conductometry, impedance spectroscopy, voltammetry, galvanostatic cycling, X-ray phase analysis, electron microscopy. The influence of solvent composition, nature of anion and concentration of salts, temperature, nature of impurities and their concentration on specific conductivity and range of potentials of electrochemical stability of electrolytes for sodium CDU is determined. Impurities, such as fluoroethylene carbonate, have been found to have a positive effect on these parameters. Polymer electrolytes for sodium CDU have been investigated and the effect of plasticizer on the conductivity, activation energy, porosity and surface morphology of polymer films has been shown. The influence of solvent composition and method of electrode fabrication on the efficiency of cycling of sodium rhodizonate in sodium CDU is established. New layered cathode materials for high power lithium and sodium CDUs have been obtained and tested. The possibility of using LiFePO4 in sodium CDU has been shown.
