Photographic templates have been developed and the technology of lithographic fabrication of interdigital planar electrodes, characterized by the presence of a separate reference electrode, has been worked out. The technology of vacuum thermal sputtering of island gold structures on glass electrodes with limitation of the sputtering zone, which is determined by the available geometry of the opposite combs and the reference electrode, was optimized. Work has been done to develop a technology for manufacturing arrays of gold nanostructures on glass electrodes by the method of high-temperature annealing. The spectral characteristics and cyclic voltammograms of the obtained nanostructures in the mode of application of variable electric potential to the electrodes placed in the liquid and gas environment were investigated. It was shown that high-conductivity nanostructured surfaces can be used to record redox reactions using the example of a model dye (methylene blue).
