High efficiency and reliability of multimodal analgesia was demonstrated, positive influence on the rehabilitation of children in the early postoperative period was noted, total dose of drugs was decreased thus the frequency of side effects was lover. The morphological and functional state of platelets, as a component of vascular hemostasis, in patients with acute pancreatitis was examined: the number of inactive platelets decreased and the number of their activated forms increased at the first stage of the disease. Attention was paid to the examination of intra-abdominal pressure in a group of patients with severe form of acute pancreatitis, which can be used as a method of predicting the course of the disease. The activity of the autonomic nervous system in patients with inguinal hernias undergoing surgery under the local anesthetics has been analyzed. The peculiarities of the effect of epidural anesthesia on the structural and functional state of the myocardium were studied, the course of coronary heart disease, and the criteria for choosing the optimal type of anesthesia to improve the safety of the perioperative period were developed. Peripheral blockages have been found to have a better safety profile compared to neuroaxial ones, but may also cause complications, such as neuropathy. A method of preventing high pressure during local anesthetic administration during peripheral blockages, which is 5 times cheaper than an unregistered local anesthetic pressure monitor, was proposed. Advantages of paravertebral analgesia of labor in comparison with epidural analgesia were established: faster opening of the cervix, shorter I and II periods of labor, lover frequency of caesarean section were demonstrated. The interaction of the patient with the ventilator and the introduction of non-invasive monitoring of diaphragm function were examined. The time and amplitude of excursion of both hemidiaphragm at different modes of mechanical ventilation was established, as well as the dynamics of the level of diaphragm thinning fraction during patient veaning. Assessing pulmonary respiratory functions in patients with different types of obesity during laparoscopic operations opened a new horizons for improving the results of treatment of patients requiring mechanical ventilation, prevention and treatment of respiratory infections. Inclusion of gastrointestinal dysfunction management into the treatment strategy of patients with polytrauma in the early stages of the disease reduced the percentage of development of multiorgan syndrome, shortened the length of inhospital period and reduced the mortality rate which reduce the burden of medication cost for patients. The result of this study gave the opportunity to develop protocols for early diagnosis and treatment of gastro-intestinal dysfunction syndrome.
