The purpose of the work is to create the theoretical and methodological foundations for market's development for innovative technologies to ensure the transition of the national economy to the trajectory of sustainable development. Towards the direction "Institutional factors of the market environment development": - The peculiarities of present state of the innovative technologies market are revealed and the methodological principles of its development are formulated: technological gaps; the systemic presence of the state in the economy, which is realized through a system of planning and stimulation of scientific and technological development; network development; open science; the primacy of intellectual property and information; lifelong learning. - Distinctive features of one-sided and multilateral markets are revealed, namely: 1) in one-sided markets the value is created linearly, within the chains of value creation, ie raw materials, components, through the stages of production, they are transformed into a product that is sold to the consumer, and thus for raising revenues requires lowering the cost of the value creation process, and expanding these markets requires growth in tangible assets and large investments; 2) multilateral markets are growing by increasing the number of participants (including platform users). - The peculiarities of innovative technology as a commodity are revealed, namely: 1) the production of innovative technology (unlike traditional goods, the production of which requires physical labor) is impossible without obtaining new knowledge in the form of an information product; 2) the consumer of the innovative technology does not become the owner of the new knowledge embodied in the technology, but has the right to earn the profit which gives the introduction of the innovative technology. - The special function of the market of innovative technologies is highlighted ? non-inflationary stimulation of economic growth by reducing production costs due to the introduction of innovative technologies. - It is revealed that the state plays a dual role in the market of innovative technologies: 1) as a regulator (ie the creator of conditions for market development) and 2) as a market entity that orders and finances the creation of new knowledge and technologies. - The conceptual and categorical apparatus of market theory has been improved by defining the concept of "market of innovative technologies", which is understood as a system of organizational and economic relations between knowledge producers, technological entrepreneurs, economic entities and the state arising in the process of creation, development, transfer and use of innovative technologies. - Developed methodical approach to: a) determination the global trends of development the innovative technologies market by regional (geographical) and sectoral traits by forming a system of indicators of this process in four blocks: global economic development, export of high technological level goods, expenditures for research and development, human capital; b) estimation the world trends of development the innovative technologies market, which, unlike the existing ones, involves the grouping of countries of the world into three groups: South and North America, Europe, Southeast and East Asia and Oceania based on the economic determinants that determine structural changes in this market, namely: gross domestic product of the country, export the goods of high technological level, expenditures for research and development scientific research experimental design work, human capital, international technical exchange. This makes it possible to identify and justify the reasons that reduce the effectiveness of the process.
