The purpose of the work is to create an information system that will enable the students of engineering education to develop socio-personal competences (soft skills), compiling and implementing an effective and personalized trajectory of self-esteem, introspection and self-development for better adaptation to professional and social challenges of the third millennium. Research methods - analysis of existing technologies and methods of development of social and personal competences; synthesis of the structure of the relevant information system based on a computer-integrated approach to the development of soft skills in engineering education applicants; synthesis of new principles of organization of educational process in higher education institutions of Ukraine for development of social-personal competences of future engineers. The list of existing technologies and methods of development of social and personal competences is determined. The structure of the information system was synthesized on the basis of a computer-integrated approach to the development of soft skills in engineering education applicants. As a result of these researches new principles of organization of educational process in higher education institutions of Ukraine by integration into it of development of social-personal competences of future engineers have been established. Based on the results of the researches, a project of an information system was developed which, using a computer and other technical means (tablet, smartphone), using the Internet, will allow to evaluate the level of soft-skills, develop a plan for their development, monitor the implementation of this plan and development relevant user skills. Appropriate software, didactic and methodological solutions have been proposed to ensure easy and effective integration of IP into the educational process of HE. New approaches are also offered that will allow users to independently formulate and implement an effective and personalized trajectory of self-esteem, self-analysis and self-development for better adaptation to professional and social challenges. Implementation of the developed principles of the information system is possible with the existing structure of the educational process in the VNTU within the discipline "Educational Practice" for 1-2 courses of all specialties.
