The purpose of the work is to develop the scientific and methodological bases for measuring the quality of software for measuring instruments, developing new and improving existing methods for qualifying software in solving the problem of evaluation and testing of software. Research Methods: During the research, a number of methods were used, among which mathematical modeling using the theory of graphs, sets, probabilities.The practical significance of the results obtained is as follows: - the method of determining the temporal characteristics of the software for the installation of electronic proofreaders installed in the production activity of PJSC "Ivano-Frankivsk plant" Promprylad ", the operation of which ensured, from 2011, a periodic calibration of about 37 OKVG proofreaders; - new technical solutions developed for the dissertation for the performance appraisal of the algorithms of the gas volume measurement software software are protected by the patent of Ukraine for the invention. The obtained scientific results are implemented in the educational process of the Department of Information Technology and Software Engineering of King Daniel University in teaching the disciplines: "Software Quality" - the method 407368.00001-01 "The program of calibration of household gas meters. The program and methodology of testing" is implemented in the production activity of IMF "Tempo", the use of which has ensured annually, since 2010, the testing of the software of 10 calibration installations of gas meters. The obtained scientific results are implemented in the educational process of the Department of Information Technology and Software Engineering of King Daniel University in teaching the disciplines: "Software Quality". Novelty - the first developed model of the qualimetric scale of software products based on the Fibonacci series, which makes it possible to quantify the results of determining the qualitative indicators of software products.
