ASTERACEAE, LAMIACEAE, PRIMULACEAE, APIACEAE, CHENOPODIACEAE, CARYOPHILLACEAE, SCROPHULARIACEAE, GENTIANACEAE, XANTHORRHOEACEAE, amino acids, organic acids, ascorbic acid, polysaccharides, inulin, lipophilic fraction, flavonoids, HIDROKYSKORYCHNI acid, tannins, saponins, coumarin, essential oils, extracts, PLANT COLLECTION, AMLODIPIN, VERAPAMIL, NIFEDIPINE, CAPTOPRYL, HORIZONYL-1,3-DIMETYL-7-AYRALYCINYL-1H-PURINE 8,6 -6, 6-TYP, 6,6-TYN, , PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION, CHROMATOGRAPHY, SPECTROPHOTOMETRY, CHROMATOM-MASS SPECTROMETRY, NUCLEAR MAGNETIC RESO NANS. Objects of the study: comprehensive pharmacognostic analysis of raw materials of non-official medicinal plants from the families Asteraceae, Primulaceae, Lamiaceae, Apiaceae, Chenopodiaceae, Caryophillaceae, Gentianaceae, Scrophulariaceae, Xanthorrhoeaceae; medicines that are widely used in medical practice for the treatment of various diseases. Purpose of the work: pharmacognostic and pharmacological research and clarification of the prospect of the use in the pharmacy of some informal medicinal plants; development and validation of methods for the quantitative determination of amlodipine, verapamil and nifedipine in medicinal products; physicochemical studies of the products of the conversion of 1,3-dimethylxanthine. Research methods: chemical, physico-chemical, morphological, microscopic, biochemical, microbiological, technological, pharmacological, statistical. Phytochemical study of raw materials of poorly studied unofficial medicinal plants (primrose, Veronica, Chernivtsi, Chrysanthemum, Chrysanthemum, Lily, Chaber, Cornflowers, Monard, Lofant, Tyrlich, Zolotyshechnyk, Purifier, Yacon, diuretic, anti-diabetic charges, anti-diabetic charges, secondary metabolites, macro- and microelements.  Among the compounds of primary synthesis, various groups of carbohydrates, amino acids, organic and fatty acids, ascorbic acid have been identified; the lipophilic fraction was isolated and analyzed. Among the substances of secondary synthesis, the qualitative composition and quantitative content of a number of phenolic compounds (flavonoids, hydroxycoric acids, coumarins, tannins), essential oils, triterpene saponins, etc. are determined. The basic morphological and anatomical diagnostic features of the investigated species of medicinal plants, which are important for the standardization of perspective types of medicinal plant raw materials, are identified. Based on the raw materials of the investigated plants, new types of phytosubstances were obtained, their standardization parameters were determined, toxicity and some types of pharmacological activity (anti-inflammatory, hepatoprotective, diuretic, hypoglycemic, antibacterial, antifungal, expectorant, etc.) were studied. It is proved that the created phytosubstances belong to the class of relatively harmless substances and does not have a negative impact on the function of the gastrointestinal tract, without irritating the mucous membrane of the stomach. Based on the results of phytochemical and pharmacological studies, correlations between the content of biologically active substances and the pharmacological activity of phytosubstances have been investigated. Validation of the method of quantitative determination of amlodipine, verapamil, nifedipine, captopril in accordance with the requirements of the second edition of the State Pharmacopoeia of Ukraine was carried out. The methodologies were found to meet the requirements of the Pharmacopoeia in terms of specificity, accuracy, precision and robustness. The results obtained clearly state that the HPLC methods developed are simple, fast and economical. Possible directions of chemical transformations of 8-hydrazinyl-1,3-dimethyl-7- (phenethyl-, 3-phenylpropyl-, 3-phenylalyl -) - 1H-purine-2,6 (3H, 7H) -dione in reactions with the corresponding carbonyl-containing compounds. The structure and individuality of the synthesized substances were confirmed by a set of modern spectral methods of analysis. The obtained 7-arylalkyl-8- (3,5-R, R1-pyrazol-1-yl) theophylline is a promising subject for further biological testing. The results of the researches point to the prospect of using the described methods and substances for obtaining new medicines and will be introduced into the educational process at the departments of pharmacognosy with medical botany and pharmaceutical chemistry of the Ternopil State Medical University named after Ya. Gorbachevsky MOH of Ukraine; will also be used in the development of quality control methods for new substance types. Scientific novelty of the conducted researches is confirmed by patents of Ukraine for utility model, information sheets and methodical recommendations.
