The aim of the work is to improve the energy performance of DC / DC converters. The method of work is based on the creation of circuit decisions and the corresponding algorithms of the operation of converters, which provide close to zero level of switching losses in power semiconductor keys. The factors influencing the quality of electric energy in DC systems are determined and ways of their elimination are proposed. It is shown that in order to compensate for power pulsations in DC power systems, it is expedient to use battery-based systems for the accumulation of electric energy as buffer amplification points. It is determined that one of the perspective directions of scientific work in this field is the development and research of modes of operation of energy efficient converters working in conjunction with battery systems of electric energy storage devices. Based on the analysis of switching processes in the power switches used to reconcile the parameters of the BSNE with the load, it is substantiated the expediency of using switched transducers that provide soft switching modes in semiconductor keys.
