The purpose of the study is to analyze the tendency for population reproduction of eleven areas of radiological contamination (ARC); to calculate average annual effective doses for residents of Poliske region. The retrospective study of the factors contributing to the shifts in ARC reproduction was conducted, the mechanism of their action in view of the specifics of certain regions was studied. The study has shown that transformation of migration processes in ARC was facilitated by Chornobyl accident. Regional characteristics of changes in the number and structural characteristics of women of fertile age during 1986-2016 were defined. The fertility trends and structural characteristics of their models in ARC and control were thoroughly studied. The analysis of statistical series on total fertility rate indicated its declining tendency throughout all contaminated areas. The study revealed the peculiar features of the effect that certain general and specific factors have on the regional fertility rates. The population reproduction levels were evaluated according to the population movement indicators. The study substantiated the specifics of formation of effective annual doses of external, internal and total radiation of residents of Poliske region depending on the intensity of radiological contamination with 137Cs, 137Cs concentration in the milk of cows from private households, number of individual whole-body counting in different age groups. The average annual effective doses of Poliske region permanent residents depending on the age. Product Description popup.authors Ivanova Olga M. Boyko Zulfira N. Buderatska Valentyna B.
