Purpose: To study the fundamental properties of localized and collective coherent electron excitations, their interaction with electromagnetic radiation, near-field interaction in plasmonic structures with the formation of collective plasmon modes, the process of charge carrier generation in metal-semiconductor. Research Methods: Atomic force (AFM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), absorption, reflection, photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy, Raman scattering (Raman). Under the action of femtosecond laser radiation, laser-induced periodic surface structures (LIPS) are formed on the surfaces of noble and refractory metals, alloys, semiconductors. The surface morphology of the materials is analyzed. The sizes of nanostructures detected on the LIPS are determined. Physical mechanisms of formation of features of laser-induced structures (double reduction of period and formation of dislocations) on metal surfaces are proposed. Namely, the generation of second harmonics and the formation of optical vortices in a scattered wave. Photocurrent in metal-semiconductor structures formed from gold nanoparticles (LF) on the textured surface of A3B5 (n-GaAs (100)) semiconductor at photon energies smaller than the GaAs bandgap due to the generation of two-ton current carriers due to two-photon current local field of surface plasmons near gold wafers and nanowires. Plasma amplification (1120 times) of PL 5'-deoxyadenosine monophosphate on meta-surfaces based on silver substrates structured with femtosecond laser pulses and silver nanoprisms was achieved.
