The subject of the study is nonlinear non-stationary optical phenomena and ultra-fast electronic processes initiated by ultra-short laser pulses and the possibility of their use in laser technologies of precision micro-processing of materials. The purpose of the work is to expand the methodological capabilities of the Center for Collective Use of Equipment of NAS of Ukraine at the Institute of Physics "Laser Femtosecond Complex" and their use for the study of non-stationary nonlinear optical phenomena in optical structural materials, which are perspective for telecommunication and optoelectronic uses, development of precision laser processing technologies of materials and production of arrays of microoptic elements. Research Methods - Optical time-resolved techniques for femto-, pico-second time domain: “pump-probe” and optical “Kerr gate”; time-resolved laser material ablation, linear and nonlinear-optical spectroscopy, time-resolved luminescent spectroscopy, Raman and dynamic light scattering spectroscopy, optical and electron microscopy, methods of mathematical modeling. Content of the work. The report, in a concentrated form, presents the main results of the work, which were carried out in three directions: expansion of the methodological capabilities of the CCUE "Laser femtosecond complex"; study of the features of nondestructive and destructive interaction of ultra-short (~ n • 10-15 s), super-powerful (1012 W/cm2) light pulses with optical structural materials (including nanostructures of various forms of structural organization); development of precise laser technologies for micro-processing of functional materials and production of arrays of elements of micro-optics, new materials based on photonic crystals and methods of laser beam control, promising for modern optoelectronic and telecommunication uses.
