It has been found that the presence of carbon dioxide in the hydrogen-containing operating environment of SOFC after one-time reduction causes a 1.4-fold decrease in the strength of the traditionally used anode material of the ZrO2-Y2O3-NiO system. To minimize degradation of the anode material, it is proposed to use the ZrO2-Y2O3-NiO ceramics, additionally doped with CuO and Al2O3 oxides. It is established that the Ti2AlC composite with the deposited layer of silver with a thickness of 0.25 microns provides increased heat resistance at 600°C and surface electrical conductivity in an oxidizing environment as compared to the composite based on the MAX-phase Ti3AlC2, as well as ferrite steel (Crofer), which is traditionally materials for SOFC interconnects.
