Object of study is a GPA with gas turbine unit. The main aim of the research is development of methodology for GPA technical state identifying on the basis of integrated use of the most promising methods of image recognition, genetic algorithms and GPA operation process mathematical models. Research methods are mathematical modelling of the GPA operation process, methods of GPA technical state classifying; minimization risk method; clustering method of “pocket magnifier”, diagnostic method using genetic algorithms. Theoretical results include next methods of: – diagnostics using the method, based on the calculation of the distance from the object to its nearest "neighbours" or to classes centres; – diagnostics using the "cluster map" method; – diagnostics using the minimizing risk method; – diagnostics using genetic algorithms; – multicriterial diagnostics of GPA using the results of the above methods. Practical results include: – software for diagnosing ГПА-C-6,3/56M-1,45 with gas turbine unit Д-336; – contracting theme 134-Х17 (financing 200 000 UAH). The scientific novelty consists in the creation of a method of GPA diagnosing with the parameters of the operation process on the basis of a comprehensive analysis of the diagnosing methods using image recognition methods, risk minimization method and genetic algorithms. The methodology allows: improving the quality of diagnostics of GPA preventing incorrect signals; predicting failures and malfunctions preventing emergency and forced shutdowns.
