Excitation energy conversion processes in complex optical centers of absorption and luminescence of oxide-based composites. Subject of study. Investigation of the role of microstructure and chemical composition of hybrid glass-ceramic materials such as oxide, oxide-carbon and oxide-polymer composites in the formation of their optical and properties. The goal of the work. The aim of the project is to solve a number of fundamental and applied problems in the field of light interaction with nanostructured wide-band hybrid composites and optimize their optical properties by forming complex luminescent-active centers. Various methods have produced rows of glass and glass-ceramic composite structures based on them: 1) B2O3 - V2O5 type borate glass and glass-ceramic structures based on the general formula B2O3 - V2O5 - LaVO4: Eu: Ca; 2) glass type K2O-P2O5-MoO3-Bi2O3 and glass ceramics based on it: K2O-P2O5-MoO3-Bi2O3-Pr3 +, 3) alkaline borate glass and glass ceramics based on it M2O-B2O3-ZnO (PbO ) -Mnn + (M = Li, Na), functionalized micro / nanoclusters; 4) glass-ceramic lithium-germanate composites based on LGO glass (Li2Ge7O15) obtained by the method of temperature crystallization and LGO crystals incorporated into it, doped with REE ions of elements (Nd, Sm, Eu, Er). Their morphological, structural, calorimetric and optical characteristics were investigated, using methods: X-ray analysis, optical and luminescent spectroscopy, scanning electron and optical microscopy, theoretical calculations of electronic band structure. Based on the experimental data obtained, the processes of excitation energy transfer from the matrix to the fluorescent impurities and from the amorphous (glass) matrix to the incorporated micro / nanocrystals were studied; optimum component ratios are found. The color characteristics of the manufactured systems were evaluated.  Product Description popup.authors Borysiuk Viktor I. Nedilko Sergii G. Prokopets Vadym M. Teselko Petro O. Khyzhnyi Yurii A.
