The results of scientific research on the topic were used in the practical work of the Committee on Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Association of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in Kharkov region (Regional Branch of Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs). The developments are based on the results of previous studies and are related to previously completed works on the topics: “Problems and prospects of decentralization of energy supply and creation of local autonomous fuel and energy complexes”, 2015, registration number 0115U003870; “Substantiation of structural changes in the energy sector and opportunities for its modernization”, 2017, registration number 0117U001757; “Substantiation of directions of development of distributed energy in Ukraine in the context of structural changes in the economy”, 2018, № registration 0118U100136. It is recommended to use the results of the work when developing a strategy for the development of the industry of Ukraine. Implementation of the measures proposed in the work will ensure the creation of additional jobs, increase the income of the population, ensure the stability of sources of formation of the revenue part of the budget and reduce the debt burden on it.
