We highlighted contemporary state of populations of steppe herbaceous polycarpic plants in mining landscapes. We presented information about distribution of rare herbaceous species in monitoring post-mining objects. We considered the peculiarities of establishing arboreal and fruticose vegetation on iron ore dumps of region. We analyzed structure of floristic composition of spontaneous arboreal plant communities on iron ore dumps of region. We defined life forms and specifics of vegetative mobility of Populus alba L. and P. іtalica (Du Roi) Moench. We found out specifics of litter forming in 40-year-old plantations of Pinus pallasiana D. Don on iron ore dump. We studied mutual forming soils and phytocoenoses depending on size-mechanical and physical-chemical composition of dump rocks in Kryvyi Rih Area. We revealed optimal substrate acidity rates for development of different vegetation types. We highlighted vitality aspects of two species of the genus Picea Dietr in ecosystems of Kryvyi Rih Basin with different levels of technogenis pressure and detected some advantages of Picea pungens Engelm. over P. abies (L.) Karst with regard to adaptations to existence in urboecosystem conditions. We highlighted results of approbed methods to promote vegetation cover development in technogenically disturbed territories where technical reclamation was not done. We got positive results introducing innovative developments: in years 2017-2019, to decrease dust emission from dry surfaces of the tailing pond of PJSC Central OPC, we carried out reclamation works using planting material of Phragmites australis (Cav.)
