The natural museums of Europe and the USA concerning the interpretation of natural collections as natural heritage, as well as national legislation in this field are analyzed. A plan for interpreting the Ice Age exhibition for inclusion edicational programm was developed. Within the framework of determining the potential of the exhibiting component of the museum collection of vertebrates, elaboration of the museum documentation of mammalian stuffed animals was carried out, a complete database of mammalian stuffed animals was created, the collection was analyzed for the exposition and scientific value of its specimens, the possibility of providing physical and informational access. The history of editions of the State Museum of Natural History is investigated. The ways and sources of collecting the theriological collection, in particular the collection of hunting trophies for the life of the founder of the museum V. Didushitsky, are analyzed. An educational program for children with different types of disabilities "Ice Age School" has been developed and implemented, consisting of 14 scenarios of various activities for children with visual impairments, hearing and developmental disabilities. 10 interactive lessons have been developed for secondary school students.
