In accordance with the methodological approaches of landscape planning, the assessment of Kyivske Polissya landscapes was carried out regarding their importance for human life and economic activities, landscapes resistance to anthropogenic influences. Based on the results of the landscapes assessment and analysis of socio-geographical conditions, the conflicts in the system "nature - society" (deforestation, radioactive contamination, floods, land depletion, etc.) have been identified. The concept of optimum spatial organization of nature use in Kyivske Polissya is proposed and methodological recommendations on integration of environmental goals into territorial planning are developed.
