The project developed the technology of obtaining of gold nanoparticles with atomically smooth faces and carried out their characterization. The ordered monolayer films of molecules of different classes of organic compounds were obtained: long-chain CnH2n + 2 alkanes, anchor-linker molecules, thiol-containing and switching molecules. The ability to control the surface properties of created nanostructures (tribological, wetting, and electroluminescent) has been demonstrated.
