The object of the research is the process of providing social services in the employment field. The subject of the research is the mechanisms of foreign experience of decentralization the provision of social services in the employment field. The aim of the research is to study and disseminate the foreign experience of decentralizing the provision of social services in the employment field and also to determine the priorities, tasks and mechanisms of its practical implementation. Research methods: observation and generalization, structural and functional analysis, comparative analysis, statistical analysis, etc. The research work summarizes methodological approaches and tools for researching decentralization of social services in employment field; the employment system and mechanisms of its functioning in foreign countries are investigated; the analysis of modern foreign models of decentralization of the provision of social services in the sphere of employment; managerialism in decentralization of the employment system is considered; the legal, organizational and institutional, economic mechanisms of decentralization of the provision of social services in the sphere of employment are explored; priorities for decentralization of the provision of social services in the sphere of employment of the population on the basis of improvement of state and public cooperation and social dialogue are determined; the concept of modernization of the system of providing social services of employment in Ukraine was developed; practical recommendations on directions of improvement of the mechanisms of public administration in the sphere of employment.
