Object of the study: economic security of Ukraine in the context of its participation in European integration processes. The purpose of the work is to substantiate the essence of economic security as a system, development and implementation of the main directions of ensuring economic security of the real sector of the Ukrainian economy in the context of Ukraine's European integration ambitions. Research methods are: system-structural method, logical method, comparative analysis, forecasting method, graphical analysis. The result of the work is the improvement of the economic security mechanism. The novelty of the results of the work: deepened theoretical and methodological foundations and revealed the conceptual bases of formation and strengthening of economic security of enterprises, industries, the state on the basis of clarification of the conceptual apparatus of economic theory in matters of economic security and anti-crisis management. Relationships with other papers: Some results were reported at scientific conferences, published in scientific publications. Recommendations on the use of the results of the work: on the basis of the conducted research methodical approaches to managing the economic security of enterprises can be substantiated with ensuring its proper level. Field of application: Economics. Significance of work and conclusions: the fundamental bases of formation of innovative-investment component of system of economic security and motivational flexibility of enterprises in formation of profit, formation of competitiveness.
