Using of electric welding of soft tissues allowed us to perform a radical surgery in 96.8 % of cases, speed up the operation time, reduce the blood loss, reduce the quantity of postoperative consequences to 6.5 % and significantly decrease the time of hospitalization. Using prophylactic surgical methods in performance of colonic anastomoses like single-row suture with film implant and SPONGISTAN sponge with antibacterial impregnation allows to reliably decrease the frequency of local consequences from 78.5 % to 13.0 % (P <0.05). The scientific novelty of the results: a comprehensive study of concomitant pathology in surgical patients and of simultaneous surgeries in case of combined surgical pathology was carried out at the first time. The expediency of the simultaneous surgeries was brought up. It is given comparative assessment of the different methods of surgery and necessity of using electric welding of soft tissues has been indicated. The established methods for predicting risk can prevent the occurrence of colonic anastomoses failure in the postoperative period using the developed methods for protecting the suture area in a timely manner.
