Novelty - Methodical recommendations for determining the cost of machinery, equipment, raw materials and consumer goods were developed for the first time, taking into account the retrospective evaluation of forensic examinations. At the present stage, expert practice does not fully meet the needs of the judicial and investigative bodies in solving this problematic issue.
